My experience:

As a baseball player, I went through all the necessary stages to be successful and it was very difficult, despite my talent I had to go through a lot of effort. I developed since I was a child as a player in different leagues in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, then my father made the right decision to go to university and we moved to Florida, where I joined the University of Miami Dade and finally I managed to draft with the St. Louis Cardinals team in 1994.

I see this type of opportunity very necessary within baseball in Latin America and the Caribbean, this was the reason why I decided to be part of this magnificent project.
